Fiat 500

This was my first project in 3D Studio Max. I began the model 2 years ago, when I went to a basic modeling course in 3DS Max.

This project it's not completed because I've worked on many different projects since I started it (as you can see in this blog).
It is based on a modeling tutorial: http://www.3dtotal.com/team/Tutorials/fiat500/fiat500.php Now, I've to finished it modeling details and correcting some parts of the body, and later doing the textured and making a good background to get a nice render.

Weight Lift Animation

This is project I'm working nowadays.
I began this project on a Animation Master Course last year, as a animation practice and it consist in a weight lift action with a character. This character is Max Rigging, and I don't do it, I caught it from internet.

One year later I've resumed this animation cause I want to do more realistic movements to character, so I'm working in it.
At first, I did a really basic 2D blocking to put actions and set timming between these.

Later, I began with the 3D animation on 3D Studio Max. I've only done animation on following video, because character model, rigging and background have already done.

So now, I've to do the in-between keys and refine actions to do the complete animation.

Tintin 3D

I began this project, because I wanted to practice more organic modeling, but I thought that I was not ready to do a human modeling, so I began modeling a cartoon character, as Tintin, but as real as possible.
This is the reason why I've done all wrinkles on Tintin's cloth.

First, I did a basic modeling, as you can see on the following image:

Then, I did the skinning and rigging with biped to put it in a pose (I chose Tintin peculiar walking, as following)

When I got the pose I wanted, I continued modeling parts I thought was wrong on old Tintin model, and I added some wrinkles and details on cloth, arms and legs.

So, finally I've got the model I wanted at first, and this is it:

Work is not completed, because I've to texture it and do a good background to put it there. I hope I'll have enough time on following weeks to complete it and post it here, on my blog.

Nokia N70

This is a personal work I began many moths ago, as a modeling personal work, where I wanted to practice my modeling techniques.

Nokia N70 3D Model from Duffman on Vimeo.

As you can see in video, I finished modeled model yet, but this is not a finished work at all because I've to texture it.
I hope that i'll have a little bit time on next neeks to finish it and show you the final composition.
The modeling was made in 3D Studio Max and was rendered in Mental Ray.

Video Composition was done in Adobe Premiere.

One Mission

This video was made 1 year ago in a 3D Studio Max Animation Master course as a Final Project, in 9Zeros School located in Barcelona.

One Mission from Duffman on Vimeo.

To do it, I get inspired on Saving Private Ryan and all games I've played with. I wanted to show a first-person shooter, and I thought that was a good idea to put the viewer on cameraman view, to show all actions more real.

Modeling, texturing, rigging and animation was made in 3D Studio Max.

Textures was made in Photoshop, and composition and final video in Adobe Premiere.

I used After Effects to create the final burst and shot's impact.

I'm come back

Today, I'm opening this blog to resume last blog I created 2 years ago (espaide3d.blogspot.com) where I wrote about my first 3D works.
Nowadays I've done some more projects and I want to show you it.

So, you're welcome in 3D Creation, and I hope you like works I'll share with you.
